In December now

So here's the deal, work? It's not all it's cracked up to be.

You know what happens when people decide you're the go-to guy? They decide not to go to anyone else. It gets a little tedious. It gets a little annoying.

And it gets a lot stressful.

How does one pull away from the stress and from the pressure of being the go-to guy after being one for so long? Can you?

And now for something completely different:

Beard growth: still in its earlier stages, but man do I have a beard. And my hair? Ever seen the movie "Eraserhead?" You're not missing much, unless you like insane drug trip films that make no sense. (I love those types of movies.) My hair looks like that.

Picture it? Just google Eraserhead and you'll see what I mean.

How about that Writer's Strike? Hope you like reality TV, because that's about all you're going to get for the time being on television. Movie-wise, there should be a healthy enough slate of films either in production or close enough to production where the strike won't affect them. Though that means zilch in the way of quality, the quantity won't nearly be affected as much as television.

Here's hoping there is an end in sight. A finished screenplay can be worked and filmed, but a work in progress cannot be completed. So I either need to bite the bullet and accept my work as-is, or hope the strike ends soon, pay some dues, and get cracking.

Fingers crossed.
